“The creation of France BioLead marks a pivotal step for the French bioproduction sector of biomedicines and fits perfectly within the French strategy to strengthen our development and production capacities of biomedicines on national soil. It is one of the outcomes of over three years of work under the Bioproduction Project of the Strategic Contract for the Health Industries and Technologies Sector (CSF-ITS), in close collaboration with the Grand Défi Biomedicines. Thanks to the involvement of a growing number of stakeholders and the sustainability of additional financial and human resources, France BioLead will not only accelerate ongoing initiatives but also launch new ones for the benefit of the entire sector.”

15 founding members

It was under the initiative of the Grand Défi Biomedicines and the Strategic Contract Committee for Health Industries and Technologies (CSF-ITS) that France BioLead was born, created in December 2022 by 15 founding members representing the entire value chain of biomedicine bioproduction.
