Teaching Guide for Teachers: Biotechnology & Bioproduction
The aim of this guide is to enable any teacher to get to grips with and lead the teaching modules on biotechnology and bioproduction.
It provides a simple lesson plan, the key messages to convey, and practical tips for using the content in the classroom.
The kit has been designed to enable teachers to deliver lessons using ready-to-use resources. The content provides concrete illustrations of elements of the curriculum through current examples from the health sector. It has been designed for use in the classroom, to be adapted as required and freely modified. The kit is unbranded, logo-free and freely accessible.
The kit includes:
- 1 presentation template (PowerPoint format)
- 3 technical modules, primarily intended for the first year of the general stream
- 1 more cross-curricular module, aimed primarily at students in the STL / ST2S streams, focusing on careers, training and exploring the sector.
- A facilitator’s guide for teachers
