Who are we ?
France Biolead represents the French biomanufacturing sector
It was born from the shared ambition of the French biomanufacturing industry and the French government.
Our objective :
To make France the European leader in the biomanufacturing of innovative medicines by accelerating the development of industrial facilities and technological innovations, in line with the France 2030 strategy, to guarantee better access for patients to the therapeutic innovations of tomorrow.
Our mission :
To structure, steer, support, lead and promote the French biomanufacturing industry and its players.
Our purpose:
To support the development of the various technological value chains of a sovereign and innovative French biomanufacturing industry throughout the life cycle of the biomedicine. To ensure the availability of biomedicines for patients and to build an attractive and recognized industry, especially internationally.
France BioLead structures, pilots, accompanies and animates the biomanufacturing sector in France.
While the diversity and richness of our ecosystem is a real strength, it implies bringing on board a multitude of players from different spheres and making them converge around common projects and successes. Because it is by developing the continuum between public and private, between research and production, between industrialists and innovators that we will be able to guarantee better access to innovative biotherapies for our patients:
- By increasing the number of industrializable biomedicines resulting from French research and produced in France, by taking into consideration the industrialization of the manufacturing process, quality control and regulatory aspects at a very early stage of development.
- Gaining in productivity by increasing yields and reducing production costs. By increasing investments in the development of industrial tools and breakthrough technologies associated with biotherapies in their manufacturing process and quality control.
- By creating jobs, attracting young students and retaining our talents.
