A word from the president
"The creation of France BioLead represents a pivotal step for the French biomanufacturing sector and is perfectly in line with the French strategy to strengthen our development and production capacities for biomedical products on our soil. It is one of the fruits of the work initiated more than 3 years ago within the Bioproduction Project of the Strategic Contract for the Health Industries and Technologies (CSF-ITS), in close collaboration with the Grand Défi Biomédicaments. Thanks to the mobilization of a greater number of players and the perpetuation of additional financial and human resources, France BioLead will not only accelerate the actions initiated but also initiate new ones for the benefit of all players in the sector.

Our founding members
France BioLead is the catalyst for the French biomanufacturing industry.
Under the impetus of the Grand Défi Biomédicaments and the Comité Stratégique de Filière des Industries et Technologies de Santé (CSF-ITS), France BioLead was created in the summer of 2022 by 15 founding members, players in the entire biomanufacturing value chain.

Contribution of FEFIS to the development and structuring of France BioLead
Audrey Derveloy, President of the French Federation of Health Industries (FEFIS), President of the Strategic Committee for Health Industries and Technologies (CSF-ITS) and President of Sanofi France, describes the FEFIS' contribution to the development and structuring of France BioLead.
It was under the impetus of the Strategic Committee of Health Industries and Technologies (#CSF-ITS) chaired by the FEFIS and the Grand Défi Biomédicaments that the France BioLead Association was born. France BioLead has become the unique and reference interlocutor on biomanufacturing with the French Agency for Innovation in Health (#AIS), the State and the actors of the biomanufacturing sector (health industrialists, biotechs, producers for third parties, equipment manufacturers, academics, clusters, competitiveness clusters, professional associations, etc.), as well as the spokesperson for the innovative biomanufacturing sector at the national and international level.
