EuropaBio has published its 2026 annual report, amid intense legislative activity for European biotech. The association now brings together more than 100 direct members, including 32 national and regional associations, representing over 6,000 innovative SMEs across Europe. The report highlights the adoption of the Biotech Act Part I in December 2025 — focused on health, clinical trials, and bioproduction — and anticipates Biotech Act Part II, a text dedicated to biomanufacturing, expected by the end of 2026. The association identifies single-market fragmentation, access to financing, and reducing the administrative burden for industrial scale-up as persistent priorities.
